The information provided by the environmental label on the packaging – whether it is a food or non-food product – concerns the correct management of the waste derived from the packaging/container at the end of its use.
Where not present, the following indications apply for the proper disposal of waste.
“Composite products” refer to materials of any nature intended to contain certain goods, from raw materials to finished products.
Check each component for the acronym or symbol found in the following table to determine how to dispose of it. Always verify your local municipality’s regulations to ensure that the type of material allows for the disposal indicated in the table as a general guideline.
